Midwest FurFest 2024 Photography

I took a trip with some friends to the Midwest FurFest 2024. I'm just now getting to the edit of the video and this website article. This was my first time at this particular convention, and it was a very interesting experience. I've been to one other furry convention, Anthrocon back in 2017, and I found the two events to be quite different.  Check out the video on YouTube that this article is based on:  Nikon NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 Lens: Amazon: https://amzn.to/3ST4UOR B&H: https://bhpho.to/411ZGTR Adorama: https://adorama.rfvk.net/oq47Ge Best Buy: https://bestbuy.7tiv.net/15NGND ebay: https://ebay.us/JW3yrA Used on KEH: https://shrsl.com/3nrxt As an affiliate of these shops, I earn from qualifying purchases! Llano Aurora EN-EL15c Camera Battery Overview

I was recently sent a Llano Aurora camera battery, specifically the EN-EL15c model for many Nikon cameras. Keep in mind that Llano sent this battery to me at no cost, but they had to agree to my terms .  Check out the full video on YouTube for more information:  Check out the llano Aurora USB-C EN-EL15C Battery for Nikon cameras:  Amazon:  https://amzn.to/3ZLMbtY   ebay:  https://ebay.us/L7Lom6 As an affiliate of these shops, I earn from qualifying purchases! It's more about time from the click rather than what you buy. Usually anything within 24 hours of the visit.  The most interesting thing about this battery is that it has a built-in display to show its power level. It also has a slightly increased capacity rating compared to its predecessor and the official Nikon battery. Let's take a look at what it offers. Though, I don't test capacity here so take any mention of capacity with a some level of skepticism. My OEM batteries are a few years old, so...

Godox 24x24 Softbox Review & DIY Diffusion Modification

I recently swapped my larger Godox 32x32 inch softbox for the smaller 24x24 inch model to better fit my workspace. The smaller size should be more manageable in this small space.  Watch the full video on YouTube or on my Amazon page for a lot more information:  The Weeylite Ninja 400 light I'm using is very bright even at 1 percent power. This led me to a DIY project to create an additional diffusion layer for better light control. This article covers my review of the Godox 24x24 softbox, its assembly, and a basic guide on how I created a custom diffusion panel. Photography at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago

Let's take a walk through the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago! I went there with friends and I also wanted to capture some of the trip. The easiest way to do that is usually with a smartphone. I also had a GoPro with the max lens mod for video.  Check out the video on YouTube with more photos and other talk:  Photography can be whatever you want it to be. A lot of the time, just using a phone is fine, and I enjoy it. You might not get as much control as with a high-end interchangeable lens camera, and the photos will be of lower quality, but I still enjoy the process as well as capturing memories. I don't need perfect photos all of the time.  The grand hall of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, with its high, domed ceiling illuminated in blue. For me, with photography, memories are often more important than the technical perfection of the results. I really enjoy a documentary style of photography, just going out, taking photos, and trying to get som...
