Sigma 16mm on a lighting display photo walk

I’m a fan of the 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens, but it isn’t perfect. In this video I talk about enjoying a beautiful Japanese styled garden while they had a Christmas holiday lighting event while doing photography with the Sigma 16mm and the Canon EOS M6 Mark II. https://youtu.be/garkrYhIqao I’ve photographed this garden for years but always find unique ways to enjoy photography there! This lens is available for multiple mirrorless mounts. There would be slight field of view differences between this Canon EF-M version and the Sony, Fujifilm, and L-mount versions but other than that pretty similar. At the garden. Photo walk 02/25/2012

A friend wanted to try out his new Sony NEX-5N camera, so we went out today to take some photos. I decided to go light and use the K-5 with FA 31mm f1.8 lens. That lens is one of the best lenses for most situations because the focal length equates to around 46mm on APS-C. EDIT: I'm keeping this article live for the sake of history, but know that walking around train tracks is a very bad and dangerous idea. Especially if you are preoccupied with something like photography.  Graffiti covered structure Don't do what we did, it's dumb and dangerous. A bad idea to take a photo like this.

World Wide Photo Walk 2011

So I noticed a while back on Facebook that a camera store called Lundgrens was setting up a photo walk to coincide with something called the World Wide Photo Walk, so I signed up. It was fun to take photos around a great park in the area. If you happen to be one of the people I asked for a photo, send me an email and I’ll respond back with a copy of the photo you want without my watermark on it. Here are a few photos for your viewing enjoyment!
